“One of the best community service events I’ve participated in was the UMOs Mexican Independence Parade and Festival! I am half Puerto Rican and half Guatemalan, so it’s great to see the Credit Union focusing and reaching out to different cultures such as the Hispanic Community. With the Hispanic Community being underserved and unbanked, it’s great to be a part of a team that has recognized this need for financial services and is doing something about it.”

The people are awesome to work with! It feels like working with family every day. Team is strongly emphasized in the daily operations of the Credit Union. Input from all different levels, locations and positions are valued. When we work on projects, mini teams are created. This way, we all see how things work on the front end and back end, creating a better working environment for everyone.

Educating people is my favorite thing about being a Branch Manager. I get to help people every day by helping them manage their money effectively. I’ve taught kids the concepts of money, how to save and how to budget. Knowing I can help others by simply sharing my 15 years of finance and money management knowledge makes my job satisfying. Furthermore, saying that I’ve contributed to our mission of serving and helping our community since 1923 is fulfilling!

"What makes me most proud of being part of the Prime family, is the strong commitment to not only serving our members throughout my 17 years of employment but also being an involved, active community participant. For example, Prime is a huge supporter of the Hunger Task Force. Throughout the year we volunteer to assemble stock boxes, a box of healthy foods, to help fight hunger. It’s great to be a part of a team that shares my value of lending a hand to others in need."
